We are blessed to live in Marshall County where there is prosperity and promise for many. And as friends and neighbors, we share a responsibility to safeguard the strength and stability of our communities.

The reality is there are those among us who struggle to meet the most basic human needs:  putting food on the table, having a home to call their own, or taking care of basic medical concerns. Did you know that in Marshall County:

• 18 percent of our children live in poverty and the number is increasing?
• over 700 children ages 3 and 4 are not enrolled in preschool programs; and early childhood development drives success in school and life?
• we rank 85 out of 92 Indiana counties in percentage of mothers  who received prenatal care in the first trimester?

United Way brings people and resources together to address the most pressing issues we face today. United Way funds a continuum of services that help those in our community become healthier and more successful, from the very young to our senior citizens too. Your contribution to United Way touches the lives of many by focusing on the building blocks for a better life: education, income and health. Let’s inspire hope and build a brighter future.Together, we can help.

Here are two programs to consider:
  • Cornerstone Partners. This program underwrites United Way operating expenses. Thanks to generous support of the Cornerstone Partners, today 92% of all campaign funds go directly back to our community.
  • Match for New or Increased Giving.  Your gift of $100 or more can have even more impact through a 1:1 match for new or increased gifts. Up to $50,000 will be matched through a grant from the Indiana Association of United Ways with support from Lilly Endowment; this additional funding will help launch early-childhood development programs in our county.
Last year United Way was able to support services for over 30,000 residents in Marshall County. Please help us make a difference by investing your tax-deductible gift to United Way of Marshall County. Get Involved. Give Now! There is POWER in WE!
