Our Partners

Every Partner Counts

In Marshall County, United Way works with companies, local government, individuals, nonprofits and other organizations to address complex challenges on a worldwide scale. Our partners contribute more than money. Their ideas, volunteer power, in-kind support, and more are helping build stronger Marshall County communities.

Call us at 936.3366 to see how you can partner with United Way today.

United Way of Marshall County community partners are carefully reviewed and meet nonprofit standards of efficiency, effectiveness, governance, and transparency. Each community partner undergoes a rigorous certification process and is granted United Way funding through a volunteer-led grants process. Volunteers for the grants process represent every Marshall County city and town and all our gorgeous countryside and farmland in between.

United Way community partners help ensure families have opportunities and everyone can meet basic living needs. When you contribute to the United Way Campaign, you give these agencies the ability to make lasting, sustained improvements in people’s lives. United Way fosters collaboration in Marshall County among our network of community partners with regular meetings that focus on education, information sharing, training, advocacy, and strengthening partnerships.

Like most organizations, United Way of Marshall County has a cost of ‘doing business.’ A successful Cornerstone Program to underwrite these costs ensures that employee dollars are channeled to create lasting change and directly help our Marshall County neighbors.

2021-22 Cornerstone Partners are recognized in publicity efforts from April 2021-March 2022, on United Way campaign materials, letterhead and website, at campaign events, and on display in the Marshall County Philanthropy Center's lobby.
