Way Announces Gift of Ten Dell Printers/Scanners from United
Way 2-1-1 to Local United Way Agencies

-- The United Way of Marshall County gratefully announces
they recently received ten new Dell Color Printers/Scanners
from the St. Joseph County United Way 2-1-1 Program who received
the new equipment from the Gifts in Kind program.
Gifts in Kind is the seventh-largest charity in the Unites
States and a global leader in new product philanthropy. They
distribute nearly $900 million in new product donations to
150,000 deserving community charities throughout the United
States and across the world each year.
The United
Way of America 2-1-1 received the new equipment and distributed
them to 2-1-1 agency's across the country. 2-1-1 is the nationally
designated number for information and referral across the
country. Easy to recognize and easy to remember, 2-1-1 enables
you to find services in our community quickly and efficiently.
United Way 2-1-1 maintains a comprehensive information and
referral database and can help individuals in need locate
human, health, and social services. 2-1-1 currently lists
609 Agencies in the St. Joseph County/Marshall County database
that represent 1,878 Programs available in our communities.
United
Way 2-1-1 gives community members one number to call (2-1-1)
when they need to access services, and brings people and services
together by paving the way into the service delivery system.

The St.
Joseph County United Way 2-1-1 distributed ten new printers
to the United Way of Marshall County, who in turn, distributed
them to the following Marshall County beneficiaries: Adult
Basic Education, Boys & Girls Club, Care and Share of
Marshall County, Community Coordinated Child Care, Inc., Culver
Community Youth Center, Girls Scouts of Singing Sands Council,
Heart and Hands, Inc., Marshall County Council on Aging, United
Way of Marshall County, Inc., and Women's Care Center.

United Way 2-1-1 Coordinator for this wonderful donation.
Our local United Way agencies and programs will benefit greatly
from this unexpected and generous gift." said Jennifer

The United
Way of Marshall County partners with 16 Member Agencies to
provide services for the elderly, youth activities, those
in need and health services. United Way also supports programs
