MARSHALL COUNTY COVID-19 RAPID RESPONSE GRANTS NOW OPEN
Additional Rapid Response Grants Awarded Across Marshall County   

     The second round of COVID-19 Rapid Response grants were awarded April 20, 2020, to food pantries and organizations providing food assistance to households impacted by COVID-19. United Way, in partnership with the Marshall County Community Foundation, is working with a network of businesses, educators, faith-based and disaster relief organizations, nonprofits, and volunteers to address immediate and urgent needs. The grants total an additional $13,383 in funding to local nonprofits. 

Organizations that received second round COVID-19 Rapid Response grants – 

  • Argos United Methodist Church Food Pantry
  • Blessings in a Backpack, Argos Elementary 
  • Blessings in a Backpack, Culver
  • Bread of Life Food Pantry (Plymouth)
  • Cultivate Food Rescue (Marshall County)
  • Grace United Church of Christ Food Pantry (Culver) 
  • Marshall County Neighborhood Center (Plymouth) 

     The first round of COVID-19 Rapid Response grants from the Marshall County COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund at the United Way were awarded April 10, 2020, to food pantries and organizations providing housing and utility assistance to families and individuals impacted by COVID-19. 

     Organizations that are working to address immediate needs of households impacted by COVID-19 may apply online for a Rapid Response Grant at www.marshallcountyuw.org/covid19 by clicking on the “COVID-19 Rapid Response Grant Application” button at the top and bottom navigation of the page. 

     Individuals looking for assistance may visit the United Way COVID-19 Resource List (marshallcountyuw.org/covid19) for updates on Marshall County food panty hours.  Call 211 or search https://in211.communityos.org/ for questions regarding food, childcare, housing and utility assistance, and mental health services. 2-1-1 is a free and confidential service that helps Hoosiers find the local resources they need. Dial 2-1-1 to connect with a trained navigator, 24/7/365.
