Les Gold, the star of the truTV reality show Hardcore Pawn, will visit Marshall County later this week to speak with fans at a local pawnshop and support the work of the United Way of Marshall County.
Gold is a third generation pawnbroker who works alongside his son Seth at American Jewelry and Loan, located in the heart of Detroit. Their store has been the subject of truTV’s top-rated show, Hardcore Pawn.
Gold will visit P & N Pawnshop at 1842 West Jefferson Street in Plymouth on Friday, October 28, from 2 to 4pm. Fans will have the opportunity to visit with Gold, take photos and get an autograph.This event is free and open to the public.
That evening, at 6 pm, Gold will be a featured guest at a fundraising dinner for the United Way held at Memories Reception Hall at 401 East Jefferson Street in Plymouth. Gold will share his story, insights into his family’s business and lessons learned as an experienced pawnbroker.
The event will feature an auction and book signing, also to benefit the United Way. Individual tickets and table sponsorships for the event may be purchased till Wednesday, Oct. 26 at Ameriprise Financial, located at 401 E Jefferson Street, Suite 100, Plymouth; P&N Pawnshop or at the United Way of Marshall County offices, located at 2701 N.
